Dorsett Hospitality International has formulated a branding strategy to enable the Group to capture new hotel management business in the future. Part of this strategy includes creating a portfolio of three brands with differentiated propositions: d.Collection featuring a collection of boutique hotels with unique identities, Dorsett Hotels & Resorts comprising upscale Dorsett Grand and midscale Dorsett; and value-led Silka Hotels.
We are confident of the long term prospects of the hotel industry given the significant potential of the global travel industry in particular Asia. In Asia, a key market for Dorsett Hospitality International is China. Currently, we have a strong presence in Hong Kong and Malaysia, and are actively seeking opportunities to find the right partner in the right location to expand our hotel network in China and capture the domestic travel market.
