Dorsett Hospitality International has been awarded Trip.com Group’s Best Hotel Group of 2020 for a second time. The Hong Kong-based hospitality group has demonstrated its dedication and commitment to its guests and the wider community throughout the pandemic and is proud to once again be recognised for this reputable award.

The Group has offered accommodation and support to local healthcare workers and frontliners at their hotels in Mainland China, including Wuhan, London, Malaysia and Hong Kong, looked after over 150,000 quarantine guests globally and provided over 500 hotel room nights in 2020 to local charity Harmony House for people in Hong Kong suffering from domestic abuse.

The Group has offered all their guests worldwide the flexibility they need at a time where ever-changing restrictions has made travel unpredictable and challenging. Dorsett has also shown their creativity and innovation with the launch of their Dorsett Mart concept – an online shop allowing guests to order groceries, rent gym equipment and other quarantine essentials – as well as interactive virtual wine tastings, Zoom workout classes and more to make sure our guests can enjoy and make the most out of their 14 to 21-day quarantine stay.

Two other hotels owned and managed by Dorsett Hospitality International in Hong Kong have also received awards from Trip.com. The Best Strategic Partner award accorded to Dorsett Wanchai and the Best Selling Hotel Award accorded to Dorsett Tsuen Wan.
The hotel group was previously named Trip.com’s “Best Hotel Group” in 2019 for its high standard of excellence across its properties.
