Our group has always been empowered by our communities and is passionate about youth education,  innovation, wellness, and arts and culture. We have embraced these passions with the following programmes:

Positive Impacts Week

In June 2023, the Group launched our first ever  “Positive Impacts Week” to celebrate World Environment Day. All 30 of our hotels joined in with fun-filled and meaningful activities. The purpose of the week is to actively educate our teams about sustainability and to find a connection to nature.

D20 Roots – TCM Research Project with THEi

We have partnered with the Vocational Training Council’s THEi Chinese Pharmacy department in Hong Kong to support the research and preservation of Chinese cultural heritage and the protection of local biodiversity. The purpose of the project is to bring modernized uses of Traditional Chinese Medicine while embracing wellness. The donation includes 40,000 sq ft of land and a starting research fund of HK$ 1.5 million. 

VTC Innovation and Technology Co-Creation Centre Powered by Dorsett Hospitality International 

To provide our next generation with tools and know-how to address social and sustainable challenges, Dorsett Hospitality International has named the Vocational Training Council’s Innovation and Technology Co-Creation Centre to power the Innovation and Award and Seed Fund. The purpose of the fund is to help realize social innovation challenges and create solutions to solve them while uplifting our local youth for innovation entrepreneurship. Since its inception, 3 student projects have entered into the Hong Kong Science Park for further funding. 

Walk For More 

Walk for More launched in 2021, since its launch our group associates have taken over 689,451,182 steps (as of 2022) together to walk for our own physical and mental health and to raise money at the same time. Each year, we activate this activity for three months to promote staff engagement, and to get active to walk for Charity. This year, our chosen Charity to support is “The Green Earth” an environmental green education group in Hong Kong. Since the beginning of Walk for  More, we have raised over HK$344,000 for local charities. 

Through our efforts, we have also been recognized for our various programming through the following prizes:
